Welcome

Jessika Chi offers research-driven, experiential, and high impact workshops and trainings on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

As an experienced facilitator and trainer, Chi equips educators and organizational leaders with the skills needed to create more equitable, inclusive, and socially just environments.

About Me

I am a higher education professional who is deeply committed to educational and social equity.

Currently, I work to implement institutional systems to create a diverse and inclusive learning, teaching, and working environment. I develop initiatives designed to support the recruitment, transition, and retention of historically underrepresented students, staff, and faculty in higher education.

I am constantly learning and sharing new inclusive pedagogical practices. Skilled with curriculum design and developing high-impact workshops, I enjoy creating educational opportunities designed to equip others to successfully engage in issues of social justice.

My scholarly interests involve exploring the social and cultural context of education and its impact on the educational system. My research interests include inclusive pedagogy and a critical examination of race and privilege and its role in maintaining systems of inequity in education.

What Others Have To Say

“Jessika was my Cluster Leader during the LeaderShape Institute. One of the things that I really appreciated about her and her leadership style was that from the very beginning of the week, she was able to create a safe space for all of the members to be vulnerable and share things that were definitely not easy. From that point, she continued to present us with challenges to become a more cohesive group, while holding the utmost respect for our differences. Jessika displays what it means to be an ally. As she facilitates conversations, she ensures that all members are brought into the conversation and each member is heard.”
